It’s $25 to participate in a Luvvly Dating event. We cover all processing fees ($5).

You’ll go on 6-8 dates and explore new connections, all in under 2 hours.

We use this fee to cover the costs of coordinating, paying our Luvvly remote hosts who make it all possible, and continuously reinvesting in improving the experience and effectiveness.

The success of our events and the experience of all attendees depend on every participant's commitment. We kindly ask that you ensure there are no schedule conflicts prior to registering for Luvvly Dating.

All Sales Final: We do not provide refunds. Cancellations are non-refundable.

We understand life's unpredictability and, in cases of a life emergency, we may provide a refund (minus the $5 processing fee) at our discretion. To qualify for a refund, you must inform us of your situation at least 72 hours before your event's start time. No exceptions. This notice period is essential for us to effectively fill your spot. Examples of emergencies include severe illness, death in the family, etc. Remember, a minimum of 72 hours' notice is required for emergency refund consideration.

To request a refund, please email pdx@luvvlydating.com with your name, event date, and reason for cancellation.

No-Show: No shows and late cancellations are very detrimental to the experience of other participants. If you do not show up without any notice or reasoning, you'll automatically incur a $50 fee and may be permanently banned from participating in all future events.

Late Cancellations: We need ample notice to be able to fill your spot. All cancellations within 3 hours of the event start time will automatically result in a $50 fee. Repeated last-minute cancellations may lead to a permanent ban.

Leaving Early: Leaving in the middle of an event will incur a $50 fee. If you are experiencing an emergency, are suddenly unwell, or feel unsafe, we will waive the fee at our discretion. Please ensure your schedule allows you to enjoy the full event duration.

Timely communication is key!

Your commitment, communication, and understanding are instrumental in ensuring we can continue to create great dating experiences.

If you need to cancel, let us know by sending an email to pdx@luvvlydating.com.

Please include your name, event date, and ‘Cancellation’ in the subject line.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, as our events always start on time.

Remember, we are not an app; our events are managed remotely by a real person who will be busy confirming attendance and organizing round pairings. Timely communication is key!

If you're running behind or cannot make it, you MUST give us a heads up.

Without a response by the pairing deadline, you'll be removed from the participation list and will not be able to join in. Late arrivals without notice will be marked as no-shows and will automatically incur the $50 fee.

We cannot add you back into the event once it has started, as this disrupts the round pairings.

If you're running a few minutes late, we can usually accommodate you, but we need to know in advance.

“Straight” events do not require you to be monosexual or entirely heterosexual, but rather set the expectation that you’ll be dating the opposite sex. Think of it as men seeking women / women seeking men.

Queer Connections at Luvvly:

Our "Queer Women" events are open to all women, trans men, and non-binary folks who feel a connection to the queer women's community.

“Queer Men” events set the expectation for same sex dates; men seeking men.

We have plenty of Luvvlies who are bisexual or non-binary who go to both queer events and straight events.

When joining, choose the event type that most closely aligns with you and who you are seeking. You will never be made to feel unwelcome by anyone at Luvvly. When in doubt, shoot us an email and we’re happy to offer guidance.

Ages: Please ensure your age matches the event's specified age range. Our age ranges allow a 2-year flexibility above or below the specified range for events.

Example: If you're 24 and interested in an event for ages 26-32, you can still attend thanks to our 2-year flexibility rule. This also applies if you're 34.

We reserve the right to remove any participant from an event for inappropriate behavior without a refund. This includes disruptive conduct, failure to respect others, or any violation of the following Ground Rules.

Luvvly Etiquette and Ground Rules:

1. Do NOT share, ask for, or provoke the sharing of personally sensitive information (contact, address, etc.). All connections will be facilitated by Luvvly through our secure and private matching process, ensuring you only share information with those you wish to connect with. This promotes a low-pressure dating experience.

2. Do NOT engage with other participants in a way that harms them or makes them feel uncomfortable. If you feel uncomfortable, report the incident directly to your remote host via text or phone call.

3. No harassment, discrimination, or offensive behavior is tolerated. Prioritize consent, respect boundaries, and be kind, empathetic, and respectful to your dates. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and take reports of misconduct seriously. Respect and decency are expected at all times, regardless of attraction.

4. While some venues may serve alcohol, participants are expected to monitor their consumption. Intoxicated or belligerent behavior will not be tolerated.

Failure to comply with Luvvly's Etiquette and rules will result in a permanent ban from all future events, with Luvvly and the coordinating venue taking further appropriate action as necessary.

Once you've met all of your dates, your remote host will send you a match form to fill out.

Match results will be sent via text within 24 hours of the event. You’ll get results even if you did not have any mutual matches.

We take your privacy seriously, so your responses are confidential and will only be shared if a mutual match occurs.

Confidence in Matching: To avoid human error, all mutual matches are automatically populated based on your match form submissions.

Luvvly is not responsible for any interactions outside of our events.

Luvvly events consistently book out in advance with full waitlists, guaranteeing 6-9 dates at any event. Despite no-show fees and effective communication, rare last-minute cancellations can disrupt the participant ratio. If we don’t have enough time to fill the spot, we adjust by simply implementing break rounds.

In the case the turnout is lower than 6 dates, which almost never happens, we’ll offer a partial credit for the inconvenience.

On the very rare occasion where attendance gets so low that we can’t offer a quality experience, we’ll give you ample notice and cancel the event, offering you a choice of a credit transfer or full refund.

The average length of a Luvvly Dating event is about 2 hours.

Please plan for 2 hours and only sign up for Luvvly events that align with your schedule. Unless you’re feeling unsafe or are experiencing an emergency, we expect all participants to stay for the full duration of the event.

2) On the Eventbrite event page click “get tickets”.

3) Click “join waitlist”.

If a spot opens up we’ll reach out via text with a link to register.

We’re all about creating a relaxed dating experience. Think of it as a casual first date over a cup of coffee.

You’ll have a couple of minutes between each date as well as a short intermission for everyone mid-event if you have over 6 dates.

We carefully choose and partner with our favorite local venues. We’re in close communication regularly.

Your safety and comfort are our absolute priorities. Our events operate without a physical host and we take extra precautions to ensure a safe and comfortable dating experience. Here's how:

1. Our events are always held in public spaces during operating hours.

2. If you encounter any participants violating our 'Luvvly Etiquette,' you can report them in real time by promptly texting your remote host or sending an email to pdx@luvvlydating.com.

3. We maintain close contact with our venues, ensuring a point of contact is available on-site should any situation arise.

4. All participants are expected to follow our 'Luvvly Etiquette and Ground Rules'.

Disclaimer of Non-Liability:

We strive to foster a safe and welcoming environment at all Luvvly Dating events. However, it's important to understand that, similar to any public outing, we cannot guarantee 100% safety. Participation in Luvvly Dating events means you will interact with other attendees, venue staff, and possibly individuals not participating in our events. Please be aware that Luvvly Dating does not conduct background checks on participants.

Our events are hosted in various third-party venues, such as cafes, bars, or restaurants, which are not owned or operated by Luvvly Dating. Please note that Luvvly Dating staff is not present on-site during any events. Our events are solely run remotely by a remote host.

Luvvly Dating and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, injuries, or harm resulting from your participation in our events or any related activities, including but not limited to, traveling to and from venues. Your decision to attend our events is made with the understanding that you do so at your own risk, akin to visiting any public venue on your own.

By participating in a Luvvly Dating event, you acknowledge and accept these terms, understanding the inherent risks involved in public social interactions and venue-based activities.

This rarely happens.
In the case it does, text your host and they’ll help coordinate. They’re likely in the restroom.
In the unlikely scenario your date has left, that ‘round’ will simply be a break for you.

On the day of your event, your remote host will text you to the number you registered with. This will be your sole method of communication with your remote host leading up to and during the event.

Please double check that your number is correct when registering.

By participating in Luvvly Dating events, you acknowledge and agree that the event may be photographed and/or filmed. Your attendance serves as consent for the use of any photographs and videos taken at the event in marketing and promotional materials, without any personal identifying information being attached.
