There are no refunds or ticket transfers.
Our events are for intentional singles willing to take time to show up and connect IRL, for this reason all Luvvly events are subject to a $50 no show fee.

If your plans change, you must give us a heads up:

• Cancel before the 4-hour cutoff → no additional fee

• Canceling within 4 hours of the event is considered a no show → $50 no show fee

• Leave early without telling your remote host → $50 no show fee + possible ban

The fee helps us cover the costs of organizing these events, paying our dedicated Luvvly remote hosts, and continuously improving your experience.

Yes! Hit the ‘waitlist’ button next to the event of your choice and fill in your contact info. We’ll notify you via text if a spot opens up.

Please arrive 10-15 minutes early, as our events always start on time.

Remember, we are not an app; our events are managed remotely by a real person who will be busy confirming attendance and organizing round pairings. Timely communication is key!

If you're running behind or cannot make it, you MUST give us a heads up.

Without a response by the pairing deadline, you'll be removed from the participation list and will not be able to join in. Late arrivals without notice will be marked as no-shows and will automatically incur a $50 fee.

We cannot add you back into the event once it has started, as this disrupts the round pairings.

If you're running a few minutes late, we can usually accommodate you, but we need to know in advance.

Please ensure your age matches the event's specified age range. Our age ranges allow a 2-year flexibility above or below the specified range for events.

Example: If you're 24 and interested in an event for ages 26-32, you can still attend thanks to our 2-year flexibility rule. This also applies if you're 34.

“Straight” events do not require you to be entirely heterosexual but set the expectation that you’ll be dating the opposite sex. Think of it as men seeking women / women seeking men.

"Queer Women" events are designed for queer women: women seeking women, trans men, and anyone aligned with the queer womens community.

“Queer Men” events set the expectation for same-sex dates, men seeking men.

“Pansexual” events include people of all genders and orientations, with the expectation that attendees are open to dating any gender.

“Bisexual” events are designed for bi and bi-curious folks who are open to dating more than one gender. Expect to date a mix of genders.

All Luvvly events are open to everyone, regardless of gender identity or orientation. Many of our Luvvlies who are bisexual, trans, or non-binary enjoy attending both queer and straight events.

When joining, we recommend choosing the event type that best matches your preferences and who you are seeking. If you’re unsure, just shoot us an email and we’ll be happy to help! 😊

Most events last about 2 hours. 

You’ll have 8-10 minutes to connect with each date, a couple of minutes between each round and a short intermission mid-event if there are over 6 dates.

Please refrain from booking unless you can commit to the full event.

This rarely happens.
In the case it does, you’ll have the option to “ping” your date. If that doesn’t help simply text your host and they’ll assist. Likely, your date is just in the restroom.
In the unlikely scenario your date has left, that ‘round’ will simply be a break for you.

Luvvly events consistently book out in advance with full waitlists, guaranteeing 6-9 dates at any event. Despite no-show fees and effective communication, rare last-minute cancellations can disrupt the participant ratio. If we don’t have enough time to fill the spot, we adjust by simply implementing break rounds.

In the case the turnout is lower than 6 dates, which almost never happens, we’ll offer a partial credit for the inconvenience.

On the very rare occasion where attendance gets so low that we can’t offer a quality experience, we’ll give you ample notice and cancel the event, offering you a choice of a credit transfer or full refund.

On the day of your event, your remote host will text you to the number you registered with. This will be your sole method of communication with your remote host leading up to and during the event.

Please double check that your number is correct when registering.
